John 15:20
Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’[ 15:20 John 13:16] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also’
When I am weak, I am strong (through Christ)
REJOICE – We are all partakers of Christ’s sufferings
TURN PERSECUTION INTO POWER
1. Learn to thank God for persecution (in everything give thanks)
We are all robbed from God’s purpose by not giving thanks.
All things come from the hand of the Lord.
Romans 8
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his purpose
All things come from the hand of the Lord.
The joy of the Lord is our strength
2. Find reasons to rejoice
Philippians 4
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

12Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
