1 Corinthians 15

16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever– 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
When we have accepted Christ as our personal savior, He has entered our life. By allowing other things besides God to enter our life, we are taking away space for God. We need to come to the Lord empty except for Him.
When we are unyielded, we are unfilled.
What is taking up space in your life that the Holy Spirit wants?
Anything that comes in your life before God is taking up space.
These are things such as:
- Greed
- Money
- Power
- Alcohol
- Drugs
- Sex
- Pride
- Selfishness
- …all the above things are actually idols that become gods before the Lord God Almighty.
Search your life and your soul. Ask yourself honestly:
